Our client is a well-established, full-service hospitality property located in Granville, Ohio, known for its exceptional culinary offerings and versatile event space. The property features a high-volume restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as approximately 7,000 square feet of event space that accommodates a variety of functions ranging from corporate gatherings to special celebrations. This venue combines the charm of a traditional dining experience with the capacity and expertise to handle large-scale events, making it a prominent destination for both local residents and visitors alike. We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary department of this full-service property. The Executive Chef will play a critical role in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality cuisine that meets the standards and expectations of both restaurant patrons and event guests. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for directing and managing a culinary team of 11 to 15 members. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in menu development, cost management, and staff training, guaranteeing consistency and profitability across all dining outlets and banquet services. The Executive Chef will also be instrumental in maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards, promoting a safe and compliant kitchen environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior culinary leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large kitchen teams and multiple outlets
  • Proficient in menu planning, costing, and inventory management
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
