Job Requirements
- Degree in culinary arts preferred
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in related culinary environments
- Knowledge of the food industry and trends
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple venues and teams
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Degree in culinary arts preferred
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
- In-depth knowledge of food industry trends and best practices
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to create and implement diverse menus that meet resident needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Oversee multiple food service venues and food production staff
- Create new recipes and develop innovative menus
- Ensure food quality and consistency across all meals
- Manage ordering of food and non-food supplies within budgetary guidelines
- Enforce compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Coordinate recruitment, retention, and training efforts of culinary staff
- Conduct regular production meetings to drive employee engagement and productivity
