The role of Executive Chef at Morrison Healthcare represents a critical leadership position within its culinary operations. Recently, Morrison Healthcare is looking to hire an Executive Chef for Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies located in Orlando, FL. This individual will oversee all culinary operations within the dining account, managing a team while ensuring that food safety and sanitation protocols meet the highest standards. The Executive Chef is responsible for planning and creating menus that align with patient needs and preferences while controlling costs and managing expenditures to maintain budgetary targets. This role also involves purchasing and inventory management alongside the rollout of new culinary programs developed in coordination with marketing and the culinary team. Candidates with a culinary degree are preferred, along with 3 to 5 years of culinary management experience, particularly in high-volume production and catering environments. As such, this position requires a strong mix of business acumen and culinary skill, aimed at fostering innovation and delivering high-quality, nutritious food that supports patient healing and satisfaction. The salary range offered for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting the role’s importance and the expertise required.
