- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and modified food preparation techniques
- ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage budgets and control food and labor costs
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service to seniors and their families

Job Duties
- Plan, develop, and execute seasonal menus that meet residents' nutritional needs and comply with state, federal, and company guidelines
- Ensure all meals are prepared and presented with a focus on quality, taste, texture modification, and visual appeal
- Accommodate special dietary needs, including therapeutic, modified texture, and physician-ordered diets
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate kitchen and dietary staff
- Maintain food cost controls, inventory management, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health department requirements
- Oversee and be active in ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of food and supplies
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and clinical team to support resident wellness and satisfaction
- Participate in resident council meetings and incorporate feedback into menu planning
- Lead special events, holiday meals, and themed dining experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
