Job Requirements
- Culinary degree from a central accredited culinary institute or equivalent
- 6-8 years of proven culinary experience in a banquet hotel, resort, and/or fine dining establishment
- Minimum 4 years in a leadership role such as Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef or similar
- Understanding of advanced culinary arts, restaurant management and public health relations
- Basic computer skills and MS Office skills
- Advanced experience with managing payroll, CA payroll law, budgets, food/menu cost controls
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
- Service-driven mindset with polished presentation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and backgrounds
- High energy, enterprising spirit, and a passion for excellence
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational and financial performance
