The Executive Chef position at The Harpeth Hotel, part of Valor's portfolio, invites culinary professionals to lead innovation and inspire culinary excellence within a historic downtown Franklin setting. Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in kitchen management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Creativity in culinary arts
  • Knowledge of budgeting and cost control
  • Proficiency in food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage all kitchen staff including line cooks, sous chefs, and assistants
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Manage the kitchen budget, control food costs, oversee inventory, and place orders for food and supplies
