This opportunity is for the role of Kitchen Supervisor at Curio by Hilton, located at 203 S 18th St Omaha, NE. The establishment features distinguished dining venues including Peregrine and Gilded Feather/Perch Rooftop, emphasizing high standards of culinary service. The position is full-time with a competitive salary range from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, reflecting the responsibilities involved in overseeing kitchen operations.

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supervising and coordinating food preparation activities, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel. Your leadership will ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and operational standards that align with Kinseth Hotel Corporation policies and brand expectations. This role demands hands-on involvement during peak times, including cooking, carving meats, and preparing dishes for guest dining as well as banquets and social functions.

Beyond managing daily kitchen activities, you will contribute to menu planning, control portion sizes to optimize food costs, and minimize waste by effectively utilizing leftovers and food surpluses. You will also oversee inventory management, purchasing of supplies, and budgeting for kitchen operations. Collaborating with sales teams and customer groups to tailor menus for special occasions is a key aspect of the supervisory role.

The position requires a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Your supervisory duties will include hiring, training, scheduling, and developing kitchen staff, promoting a professional work environment that values safety and guest satisfaction.

This role not only focuses on operational excellence but also emphasizes the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including team members, customers, management, and external parties. Problem-solving skills, crisis management capability, and adherence to company policies are essential qualities for success.

Working in this dynamic environment exposes you to various physical and environmental conditions such as temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts, and occasional exposure to chemicals. Reasonable accommodations are provided to individuals with disabilities to support job performance and workplace inclusion.

Joining Kinseth Hotel Corporation as a Kitchen Supervisor offers a rewarding career path with opportunities to lead, innovate, and grow within the hospitality industry. The company's comprehensive benefits package and supportive culture make it an attractive choice for professionals seeking stability, advancement, and a positive workplace.
