The Culinary Manager role at Topgolf is a full-time position that requires an experienced culinary leader to supervise and elevate the kitchen team’s performance. This role is crucial in ensuring that guests receive not only delicious and consistent food offerings but also a memorable dining experience that complements the overall Topgolf atmosphere. The Culinary Manager will take responsibility for coaching and developing the culinary staff, driving associate engagement, and fostering a positive work culture that aligns with the company’s core values. The role involves hands-on leadership, including delegating tasks, standardizing recipes, and maintaining quality standards across all food production.
The position demands a strong understanding of cost management, inventory control, and food safety, requiring the manager to monitor food and labor costs carefully while adhering to budget guidelines. The Culinary Manager will also coordinate with upper management, Home Office Leadership, and vendors to ensure smooth operation and implementation of corporate-approved recipes and menu planning, including for special events and chef choice menus. The manager will ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operational and that safety and sanitation standards comply with regulations. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years in culinary management
- Proven ability to develop a culinary team
- Bachelor's degree or related culinary degree preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb
- Ability to stoop and bend
- Ability to work in high-temperature conditions up to 100 degrees for extended periods of time

- Monitor inventory and purchase product
- Maintain food and labor costs according to budget, with a full understanding of COGS
- Select and develop recipes to corporate approval
- Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Establish presentation technique and maintain quality standards
- Plan and cost menus for special events, chef choice menus
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Oversee safety and sanitation in the kitchen
- Create action plans to respond to opportunities
- Communicate and effectively partner with upper management, Home Office Leadership and vendors
