Job Qualifications

  • Proven kitchen leadership experience such as chef, head chef, sous chef lead, banquet lead, or similar
  • strong organization and the ability to lead calmly in high-volume environments
  • solid food safety and sanitation knowledge
  • experience training teams and managing service execution
  • reliable attendance and flexibility during peak business periods
  • availability for peak shifts including weekends, evenings, holidays
  • high-volume restaurant and/or banquet/event experience preferred
  • experience with prep planning, ordering support, and controlling food waste preferred
  • food safety certification such as ServSafe is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary execution for daily restaurant service and catered events
  • establish and maintain recipe standards, portion control, plating, and presentation expectations
  • coordinate production planning including prep schedules, station readiness, batch cooking, and event timing
  • direct kitchen workflow during peak periods including ticket pacing, station coordination, and expo/plating oversight
  • train, coach, and support cooks and prep staff while reinforcing safe and efficient methods
  • monitor food safety practices such as temperature control, cooling/reheating procedures, cross-contamination prevention, and allergen awareness
  • maintain strong sanitation and cleanliness standards including opening/closing duties, cleaning schedules, and deep cleaning
  • support inventory organization and communicate product needs while helping to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth service and strong guest satisfaction
  • step into any kitchen position as needed including prep, grill, sauté, fryer, expo, and plating
