Vicente's Supermarket is a dynamic and expanding grocery store chain with multiple locations across Brockton, New Bedford, Roxbury, Fall River, and Pawtucket. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands not only culinary expertise but also operational management skills. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations across several stores, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, presentation, and food safety across all units. This role requires the development and standardization of culturally authentic recipes and menus that reflect the diverse culinary heritage of the communities served. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for designing new menu items that attract and retain customers while keeping food costs in control. Training and managing culinary teams to elevate the overall food quality and customer experience is a critical part of the role. The candidate must be proactive in inventory management, vendor relations, and cost control to maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
The role includes ensuring compliance with food safety standards including ServSafe certification requirements, and leading initiatives to improve prepared foods and catering programs offered at each location.
