Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue experience
  • ServSafe certification
  • ability to manage and develop teams
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods
  • willingness to lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • extensive experience in banquet style events
  • experience managing and developing teams
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow, review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events, supervise food preparation and service
  • Estimate food consumption and schedule staff according to business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff, develop sous chefs and lead cooks
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, presentation
  • oversee preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance, conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules, comply with local DOH regulations and report critical issues
