Job Description

SodexoMagic is currently seeking a seasoned Chef to join their team at the Miami International Airport. This position is based within the private Delta Sky Club, an exclusive airport lounge dedicated to providing passengers with a premium environment for relaxation and rejuvenation before their flights. The role is integral to maintaining the highest culinary standards in this upscale setting, ensuring that guests receive top-quality food and beverage offerings that enhance their travel experience.

The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation, which includes purchasing, menu compliance, inventory management, food cost analysis, and production forecasting. This leadership position requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all culinary activities adhere strictly to Sodexo's established standards for recipe compliance and food quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary innovation and a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team, embracing new techniques and trends to continuously elevate the food service experience.

Attention to detail in food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety is paramount, as is a strong knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems, including proficiency with Excel spreadsheets. Job Duties

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
