The Executive Chef 1 position at Sodexo’s Mass General Brigham Headquarters offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about food and leadership. This role is primarily a hands-on leadership position, demanding approximately 80% engagement in culinary operations. The Executive Chef 1 works closely with the Campus Executive Chef and Executive Chef 3 to oversee daily culinary activities, ensuring superior food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation across multiple service platforms. This leadership role includes mentoring a dedicated team of seven hourly employees, supporting catering and conference productions, and managing inventory and scheduling to maintain smooth operations.
The role is designed for an energetic, organized, and creative culinary leader who thrives in a collaborative atmosphere and is eager to contribute to a dynamic food program. Working hours typically follow a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts for catering events and rare weekend coverage, offering a balanced work-life schedule.

- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
