The company prides itself on creating memorable experiences for clients and employees, all while championing diversity, inclusion, and sustainability. At Sodexo, the focus is not only on delivering high-quality service but also on fostering positive impacts within communities, enhancing social and environmental progress, and supporting the economic well-being of the areas where they operate.

Sodexo is currently seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary program for an independent school located in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a unique opportunity for a talented chef who is passionate about food, nutrition, and innovation to join an organization that values creativity, discipline, and high culinary standards. In this role, the Executive Chef will be responsible for setting the culinary vision for the school’s food service operations and ensuring that every meal served to students and staff reflects excellence and care.

As Executive Chef, you will oversee all culinary operations within the school's food service program, guiding the development of thoughtfully crafted menus that emphasize nutrition, quality, and variety. You will manage purchasing, inventory, and food cost analysis to optimize resources while delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership skills will be vital as you mentor and motivate a team of cooks, encouraging culinary innovation and adherence to Sodexo’s rigorous culinary standards. Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies will be a key responsibility to maintain a safe and welcoming kitchen environment.

This role offers significant career growth potential within Sodexo’s expansive network. With a competitive salary package aligned to your experience, skills, and educational background, Sodexo also provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision care, wellness programs, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, company holidays, and tuition reimbursement opportunities. You will be part of a team that prioritizes your professional development and well-being while empowering you to make a meaningful impact on student health and satisfaction.

Sodexo’s culture embraces diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace where all employees are respected and valued for their unique contributions. As an employer committed to equal opportunity, Sodexo ensures a supportive application and onboarding process for all candidates. Joining Sodexo as Executive Chef means stepping into a role where your culinary expertise will directly influence the well-being and learning experiences of young people, while aligning with a company dedicated to building a better everyday for everyone.
