Sodexo is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef for the prestigious Wolfgang Puck Restaurant located within the Seidman Cancer Center at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This full-time role offers a primary shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm with minimal weekend hours, providing a balanced work-life environment ideal for restaurant managers looking to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting.

As Executive Chef, you will lead and manage all aspects of food production and daily operations, ensuring adherence to Wolfgang Puck’s corporate culinary standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in mentoring and directing a frontline team to deliver exceptional food quality and service. You will oversee hands-on food preparation while managing inventory, procurement, and budgeting effectively. Your expertise will help craft innovative menus tailored to client needs and execute fresh ideas across retail and catering platforms. This position offers the opportunity to apply your culinary skills in a high-volume environment while contributing to an enhanced patient and visitor experience. With responsibilities also covering food and physical safety training for hourly employees, you will maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • strong management skills
  • menu planning experience
  • ability to multitask
  • ability to lead and train a team
  • proficiency in computer skills
  • highly organized and detail-focused
