The Executive Chef position at Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa is a key leadership role responsible for the entire culinary operations of the property. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an Executive Chef in a similar sized operation
- Prior supervisory experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain government required licenses and permits
- Valid food handler’s card
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and adhere to resort policies
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Ability to work varying schedules including long hours
- Physical ability to work in extreme temperatures and handle kitchen equipment
- Ability to lead and perform in team environments
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
