Job Description
Deloitte is a leading global professional services firm known for its commitment to delivering exceptional consulting, audit, tax, and advisory services to clients across various industries. As part of Deloitte's Strategy & Transactions group, the team plays a crucial role in supporting organizations through critical business transformations and strategic initiatives. This dedicated Strategy & Transactions team offers comprehensive end-to-end advisory services, including valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate consulting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability strategies.
Deloitte’s Strategy & Transactions team works closely with clients from the inception of major initiatives through execution, providing critical support that helps clients navigate challenges effectively, avoid financial pitfalls, and succeed in their transformational efforts. With a sharp focus on continuous innovation and practical solutions, this team is foundational in helping organizations achieve long-term sustainable growth and operational excellence.
The current opening is for a Project Consultant in the Strategy, Growth, and Transformation division within the Operations Transformation team. This role is instrumental in supporting executive operations and administrative priorities within a fast-paced, dynamic client environment. The Operations Transformation team specializes in delivering NextGen core operational solutions, business-led technology support, and process optimization services to government clients, enabling mission success and maximizing value.
As a Project Consultant, you will manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, events, and conferences, and handle travel arrangements while maintaining attention to detail in document preparation such as briefings, reports, and presentations. This role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively, possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly. The successful candidate will have an active Secret clearance, experience supporting defense clients, and the flexibility to work primarily on-site while traveling as needed.
The position is designed under Deloitte’s Project Delivery Talent Model, which emphasizes project-specific skills and delivery without the added pressure of business development or promotion expectations. Employees in this role benefit from a competitive package tailored for project delivery-focused professionals. For candidates in California, the compensation range is approximately $80,600 to $134,300 annually, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
Joining Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice means becoming part of an innovative team dedicated to helping federal, state, and local government clients as well as public higher education institutions succeed. The GPS practice is focused on delivering impactful solutions through a fresh perspective that anticipates disruption and reimagines possibilities while fulfilling client mission promises. If you are a motivated, detail-oriented professional seeking to contribute to transformative projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment, this Project Consultant opportunity offers a rewarding career path within one of the world’s most respected professional services firms.
