The Executive Assistant / Receptionist position at Visual Comfort & Co. is based in the Skokie office and plays a critical role in supporting departmental leadership and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This full-time onsite role offers a competitive salary range of $69,000 to $80,000, with a work schedule that emphasizes work-life balance, operating from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role demands a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organizational skills, given its responsibility in managing sensitive and confidential information, facilitating communication between executives and both internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating various administrative and operational tasks.
The person in this role will be responsible for managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling both domestic and international travel arrangements. As the receptionist, they manage front office duties including greeting visitors, handling phone calls, managing walk-in traffic, and directing communications effectively. The position supports purchasing and quality teams with JDE data entry and analysis, provides comprehensive expense report management, and actively participates in coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and following up on action items to ensure the seamless flow of operations.
Additionally, the Executive Assistant / Receptionist will collaborate closely with other Executive Assistants to provide backup support as needed, handling special projects that require a keen eye for detail and the utmost confidentiality. - five or more years' experience in executive assistant roles
- advanced Microsoft Office skills

Job Duties
