Within Imagineering, the Research and Development (R&D) team focuses on leveraging technology to create new experiences for Disney’s guests as well as developing innovative tools for Imagineers and cast members who operate the parks. This multidisciplinary group comprises engineers, designers, artists, and scientists who are passionate problem-solvers committed to delivering extraordinary results through collaboration and cutting-edge technologies.
This opportunity is for a full-time Senior Executive Support Professional position within Walt Disney Imagineering, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Technology and Engineering. This role demands a high level of executive support skill, organizational prowess, and discretion. The Senior Executive Support Professional acts as a critical partner to senior leadership, managing complex schedules, communications, and logistics with impeccable professionalism and confidentiality. This position is vital to ensuring seamless daily operations that allow the executive and their team to focus on strategic priorities that impact Disney’s creative and technological endeavors.
The Senior Executive Support Professional will be responsible for administrative coordination, expense reporting, travel planning, meeting preparation, and communication screening, among many other tasks. More than just a traditional executive assistant role, this position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate needs, adjust swiftly to shifting priorities, and maintain calm under pressure. The professional in this role will interact with senior executives, their support teams, and external stakeholders, requiring excellent relationship-building abilities and business acumen.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $79,400 to $106,400 per year in Glendale, CA, with additional benefits including bonuses, long-term incentives, and comprehensive medical and financial packages. Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- At least 7+ years supporting an executive or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a high demand environment with professionalism and business acumen
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Proficiency with Mac and Windows environments, Microsoft Office, SAP, Confluence and Concur
- Complete reliability handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility in schedule
- Calm and steady under pressure
- Desire to help leaders and co-workers above and beyond
Job Qualifications
- At least 7+ years supporting an executive or equivalent experience
- Sharp written and verbal communication skills including flawless grammar and rich vocabulary
- Ability to showcase professionalism and business acumen while working on a high demand desk
- Desire to immerse fully and learn all aspects of executive’s business
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Strong proficiency with computers, phones and office equipment as well as mastery of Mac, Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Confluence, Concur and ability to work in Windows and Apple environments
- Complete reliability handling confidential and highly sensitive information
- Desire to be truly helpful to leaders and co-workers and to go above and beyond without being asked
- Some flexibility in schedule
- Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A calm head and steady hand to deal with the unexpected
- Experience at The Walt Disney Company or large public corporation
- Experience working with Imagineering
- Experience with video teleconferencing equipment, Slack, Zoom
- Some presentation skills including PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe suite
- Good knowledge of current technology trends
- Experience in architecture, design and construction industry
- High school diploma required
- BA/BS or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Perform administrative duties including screening and routing phone calls, managing calendars, processing invoices, scheduling meetings requiring significant coordination and follow up, and ensuring timely and effective communications
- Prepare expense reports in SAP and ensure they are submitted in a timely manner
- Prepare for meetings including setup for large presentations or video conferences with multiple sites
- Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of business travel, including trip logistics and itinerary, meeting coordination, and remote support when executive is out of office, taking into account time zones, weather delays, traffic and fatigue levels
- Interface directly with other senior executives, their support teams and external organizations and work well with people on all levels
- Review leader’s schedule to build-in time for things like thinking and traveling to their next meeting
- Understand the day’s priorities to be strategic about directing phone calls
- Be ready to adjust schedule for emergencies and promptly resume normal operations
- Handle extremely confidential and sensitive information
- Draft letters and emails on behalf of the leader
- Provide additional office support such as ordering supplies, processing purchase orders and approval processes
- Coordinate department off-sites and events as needed
- Assist with any special projects and other related duties as needed
