The role of the EVS Worker at Aramark plays a critical part in maintaining safe, clean, and sanitary environments, essential to customer, client, and patient satisfaction. This position is primarily responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas according to both company and client standards, emphasizing safety and infection control, especially in healthcare and patient-oriented settings. The EVS Worker’s duties include vacuuming, dusting, bed making and stripping, waste removal, restroom sanitation, and ensuring housekeeping equipment is properly maintained. This role requires adherence to OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations to provide a safe working environment.

EVS Workers must demonstrate a positive customer service attitude, adaptability to meet customer needs, and the ability to report maintenance issues promptly. Security responsibilities include ensuring the facility is properly locked or unlocked as required and safeguarding company assets. Due to the dynamic nature of Aramark’s business, the EVS Worker must be flexible, as duties may evolve or new responsibilities be assigned to meet client needs. This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended periods of walking or standing, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
