The available position is focused on performing essential maintenance and cleaning duties within the business environment. The role requires the employee to undertake various tasks such as preventive maintenance, repair assistance, deep cleaning, and general upkeep of floors, windows, walls, stairs, elevators, restrooms, and other facility areas. This position also involves the cleaning and maintenance of slot machines, ensuring all gaming and common spaces are tidy and consistently presentable. Employees in this role must utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly, observing manufacturer guidelines and maintaining safety standards to mitigate hazards.

Additional job responsibilities include handling trash removal and waste disposal to outdoor dumpsters, keeping the facility free from debris and hazards. Communication skills are important as the role necessitates prompt and professional phone response. The employee must be capable of using various housekeeping and maintenance equipment safely—ranging from vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners to power tools and machinery—adhering closely to personal protective equipment standards.

The position requires flexibility in work shifts, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime, adapting to the business's varied operational needs. The ideal candidate must comprehend simple English instructions and building plans, ensuring they meet all job expectations and comply with Missouri Gaming Commission rules and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Physical demands of the role include standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in environments that involve exposure to temperature variations, smoke, steam, and noise.

This is a non-exempt role with an attractive target hourly salary range from $15.00 to $16.50.
