Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to operate small electrical equipment such as vacuum cleaners
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective English communication skills including reading and comprehending chemical labels
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, climb, and lift regularly
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance

Job Duties
- Clean/disinfect assigned areas by washing walls, doors, ceilings, furniture, floors, and equipment with appropriate solutions
- Operate various cleaning equipment following department procedures
- Use chemicals and solutions following policy
- Maintain orderly, clean, and safe work areas
- Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and use effective communication
- Thoroughly sanitize patient rooms and beds after discharge
- Replenish supplies and collect and dispose of waste correctly
- Follow infection control policies and safety regulations
- Prepare cleaning solutions according to formulas
- Move and arrange furniture and equipment as needed
- Report equipment needing repair and safety hazards
- Attend mandatory training and maintain professional growth
- Maintain proper attendance and punctuality
