This opportunity at Aramark is for the role of a professional Housekeeper who plays a vital part in maintaining clean, safe, and orderly environments across Aramark locations. The Housekeeper position is essential in ensuring that guests experience a high level of satisfaction while also maintaining health and safety standards. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning various ancillary and department areas, corridors, and public spaces, keeping them neat, sanitary, and compliant with preventive maintenance policies. This role requires integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. The job duties include safe and efficient use of cleaning equipment and solutions, disinfection and sterilization where necessary, proper disposal of bio-hazardous materials, and ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are well maintained and correctly labeled.

In this role, adaptability to customer needs and professional conduct are expected at all times. The Housekeeper contributes to improved productivity and operational efficiency within the department, and is encouraged to pursue ongoing professional growth and competence through adherence to training commitments. Physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing may be part of the job. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and/or uniforms are required to maintain safety and compliance with company policies. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers

  • inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow
  • demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor
  • may disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment
  • diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
  • keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies
  • ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition
  • promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times
  • assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department
  • demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments
