The EVS Porter-Graveyard position at Eldorado, a part of Caesars Entertainment in Reno, NV, plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness within the property. This on-site role calls for a dedicated individual who will ensure that all public areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces remain spotless and welcoming throughout the late-night or graveyard shift. The responsibilities for this position include vacuuming carpets, dust mopping marble floors, cleaning slot machines and banks, mopping hard floors, emptying trash, cleaning ashtrays, and addressing all restroom sanitation needs such as cleaning toilets, sinks, countertops, and replenishing supplies. Given the nature of the casino and resort atmosphere, this role also demands adherence to strict safety protocols including proper handling and labeling of cleaning chemicals, use of protective gear, reporting hazards promptly, and maintaining functional cleaning equipment.

In addition to the cleaning duties, the EVS Porter-Graveyard supports guest service by assisting guests with directions and information about services available within the resort and casino. Job Requirements

Ability to understand written English to read caution signs safety notices chemicals and supervisors instructions
Must be able to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations policies and procedures
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests
Must possess knowledge of use cleaning and breakdown of equipment
High school diploma or equivalent
Work may be performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded
Mobility to include bending reaching prolonged standing and walking accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
Normal sense of smell touch sound and vision range
Eye hand coordination and manual dexterity
Work area is subject to variable temperatures
May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
