Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years' work related experience
- Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in hospital EVS operations management
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work some weekends
- Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
- Strong computer and communication skills

Job Duties
- Provide leadership and management oversight for environmental services within the facility
- Communicate regularly with team members through meetings and informal interactions
- Manage scheduling, staffing coverage, and cross-training for the department
- Inspect environmental cleanliness and ensure customer satisfaction through daily rounds
- Oversaw departmental budget for capital, supplies, and operations
- Ensure medical waste is handled and disposed of according to federal and state regulations
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors and manage emergency on-call services
- Conduct staff hiring, development, disciplinary actions, and performance monitoring
- Implement quality improvement initiatives including training, auditing, and inspections
- Serve as subject matter expert for environmental services, regulatory compliance, and training
- Use computer programs effectively for reporting, communication, and data management
- Promote a culture of safety, hand hygiene, patient experience, engagement, and retention
