The role of EVS III Lead at Children’s Health located in Plano is a critical position within the Environmental Services (EVS) department. Key responsibilities include managing environmental cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, waste disposal, linen removal, and disinfecting bathrooms and patient rooms. Additionally, the lead monitors the condition of cleaning equipment, ensuring carts are clean and functional and that supplies are adequately stocked. Acting as a senior team member, the EVS III Lead provides guidance on complex technical challenges and reviews the work of less experienced colleagues to maintain high standards. This role also involves taking corrective action when cleanliness standards are not met, helping maintain the overall hospital environment as safe, hygienic, and visually pleasing.
