Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • two years previous experience in customer service
  • effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
  • ability to research and compile reports
  • valid driver’s license
  • eligibility for company auto insurance
  • willingness to pass background check and drug screen
  • ability to complete onboarding steps on time
  • compliance with annual flu vaccination
  • ability to work evening shift from 3:30 PM to 12 AM
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including walking and handling cleaning equipment

Job Qualifications

  • two years previous customer service experience
  • effective organizational, communication, and human relation skills
  • advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and/or database software
  • ability to research and compile statistical reports
  • ability to compute mathematical calculations
  • valid driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance coverage
  • customer service experience in Environmental Services preferred
  • additional related education and/or experience preferred

Job Duties

  • coordinate all department activities including scheduling, dispatching, logging, tracking, prioritizing, and assigning staff
  • conduct patient and staff rounds to obtain feedback and quality control data
  • provide follow-up information to departments and consult leadership on needed assistance
  • participate in interviewing and selecting new employees
  • provide training and serve as preceptor for new staff
  • support leadership in performance recognition and reviews
  • update and implement department policies and procedures
  • supervise ordering of department supplies and equipment
  • monitor supply expenses within budget
  • work under limited supervision with facility-based responsibility
  • supervise day-to-day workflow for designated staff
  • assist leadership with candidate selection, training, development, and performance appraisals
  • identify disciplinary actions and report to leader
