As a Housekeeping Environmental Services (EVS) Associate at Banner Baywood Medical Center, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall patient care experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the hospital. This role is integral to the daily operations that ensure the safety, health, and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff members. By performing a variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing, you help create an environment that fosters comfort and minimizes infection risks. Working closely with the environmental services team, you will gain exposure to various areas of the hospital, enhancing your skills and understanding of healthcare facility sanitation standards and practices.

This full-time position offers a day shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 40-hour work week. Weekend and holiday rotations are required, especially during the initial period, with the potential for weekend shifts every week. The role includes financial incentives such as a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18% night shift differential when applicable. As part of your duties, you will also be responsible for restocking supplies, emptying trash and medical waste containers, maintaining cleaning equipment, and responding courteously to questions and requests from patients, staff, and visitors. Your work contributes significantly to the hospital's customer service goals and the overall positive experience of everyone who enters the facility.
