The position available is for an Environmental Services (EVS) Associate III, a crucial role within the hospital's EVS department. This role is designed for individuals who already possess the skills and experience of an EVS Associate I and II, capable of performing all related cleaning and maintenance duties. The EVS Associate III is responsible for maintaining the hospital environment in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition that meets the needs of hospital customers, including patients, visitors, and hospital staff. This job requires a high level of dedication as it involves performing cleaning tasks 100% of the time, ensuring all hospital floors and carpets are free from debris and spills, and maintaining a high gloss appearance to promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Additional responsibilities include performing a variety of floor care related tasks such as polishing and buffing floors to enhance the hospital ambiance while meeting strict infection control and safety standards. The role demands strong communication skills, especially the ability to clearly and effectively answer phone calls and communicate in English. The position is part-time, with an on-call schedule covering three nights per week for 8-hour shifts, providing flexibility for employees who need partial employment. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.15 to $33.62, with compensation reflecting experience and including night shift differentials. Eligible employees working qualifying weekend shifts receive additional weekend pay, highlighting the hospital's commitment to valuing its staff and maintaining employee satisfaction.
