The company is currently seeking a Part-Time Breakfast Server to join their team with an every-other-weekend schedule, specifically Saturdays and Sundays, starting shifts at 6am. This role not only involves serving breakfast to guests but also fulfilling cashier and dining room host responsibilities. Their responsibilities include managing food storage and sanitation, organizing and performing major cleaning tasks, checking supplies as they arrive, serving food in proper portions, and maintaining sanitation standards according to all regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience in hotel or restaurant serving role
  • Ability to work every other weekend including Saturdays and Sundays
  • Ability to work early morning shifts starting at 6am
  • Ability to lift up to forty pounds unassisted and more with assistance
  • Must be physically able to stand, walk, reach, and handle objects
  • Ability to adapt to temperature changes in kitchen environments
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school education, post-high school education preferred
  • Minimum of one year in hotel or restaurant serving role
  • Ability to skillfully use pressure fryers, griddle, gas burner, and other kitchen equipment
  • Ability to read and execute recipes
  • Understanding of product measurements
  • Ability to work with customers and staff with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to perform routine and organized work
  • Able to lift forty pounds unassisted and more with assistance

Job Duties

  • Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
  • Ensure storage of food in a proper and sanitary manner
  • Organize and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment at the regularly scheduled intervals
  • Ensure food items and supplies are checked in as they arrive
  • Ensure daily cleaning and sterilization of all dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils
  • Promote great customer service
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Maintain a constant sense of cost control
  • Adhere to regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage
  • Serve food at proper portions as requested
  • Monitor thermostat controls to regulate temperature of cooking and serving equipment
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to standardized recipes
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
  • Monitor food distribution, ensuring meals are delivered correctly and are properly prepared and presented
  • Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
  • Abide by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
  • Be familiar with all menu items and service procedures
  • Total checks, present to guests, and accept payment
  • Assist with bussing tables
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
