The Events/Sales Consultant role at Urban Air Gilroy plays a critical function as the 'First Point of Contact' for prospective customers looking to book events and group activities. The consultant is tasked with selling not just event packages but an entire memorable party experience involving food, drinks, and entertainment. This position requires an individual who is outgoing, personable, and highly skilled in communication, able to quickly build relationships with local organizations through proactive outreach and networking. Responsibilities include responding to inbound leads promptly, attending community events such as chamber meetings to raise brand awareness, and working closely with the Park Team to ensure seamless event execution.
This is a commission-based sales role with unlimited earning potential, set within a fast-paced, family-focused entertainment environment. The ideal candidate thrives on meeting and exceeding ambitious sales goals, can multitask efficiently, and is genuinely motivated by fostering repeat business and customer referrals. The role involves booking events months in advance and requires an eagerness to learn and develop new sales techniques continuously. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in sales or customer service roles
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- proficiency with standard computer applications
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- ability to attend community events for networking
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to meet sales targets consistently
