Job Description

Urban Air Adventure Parks is a premier indoor adventure park and the market leader in location-based entertainment. Headquartered in Dallas, Urban Air has revolutionized the family entertainment industry by pioneering the adventure park concept. As the largest adventure park operator worldwide, Urban Air offers a wide variety of attractions, exceptional food options, and hosts special events designed to create unforgettable experiences for families and groups of all kinds. The company's mission centers around helping children and guests of all ages to have fun while encouraging them to aim higher and achieve goals they never thought possible. Each Urban Air location is committed to fostering an environment where safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction are top priorities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Urban Air Grand Rapids, as part of this global network, upholds the same high standards and values, providing community members with world-class entertainment options and memorable event experiences. Urban Air Grand Rapids is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all team members.

The Events/Sales Consultant role at Urban Air represents an exciting opportunity for driven and personable individuals looking to thrive in a dynamic family entertainment setting. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers planning a range of events such as birthday parties, church gatherings, sports groups, corporate team-building activities, and more. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a genuine dedication to delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role combines sales expertise, customer service, and event coordination to help design and sell the perfect package of food, drinks, and attractions suited to each group's unique needs.

As an Events/Sales Consultant, you will engage in outbound prospecting to establish strong relationships with local organizations, attending community and chamber events to raise brand awareness and generate event business for the park. Your ability to multi-task, respond promptly to leads, and maintain a proactive attitude will be essential to your success. This position offers unlimited earning potential through a base salary plus commission structure, making it ideal for motivated sales professionals looking to grow their careers while working in a fun and socially engaging environment.

In this fast-paced role, you will work hand-in-hand with park staff and leadership to ensure each group event runs smoothly and surpasses guest expectations. You’ll be responsible for fostering repeat business through effective relationship-building and positive client interactions. Your enthusiasm for the Urban Air brand and events will be evident in your energetic presentations and follow-ups. Safety, teamwork, and a commitment to the company’s core values will guide your day-to-day actions.

With a business casual dress code and a supportive work environment, you will enjoy working weekends, evenings, and flexible shifts as needed. Whether making sales calls, coordinating event details, or jumping in to assist colleagues, the role calls for someone who acts like they own the business and is ready to contribute ideas and efforts wherever necessary. The Events/Sales Consultant role is more than a job — it is a chance to build a career in an innovative entertainment company passionate about fun, success, and community engagement.
