Job Description

Urban Air Adventure Parks is a leading indoor adventure park and a trailblazer in location-based entertainment, headquartered in Dallas. Since pioneering the adventure park concept, Urban Air has expanded to become the largest operator in the world, renowned for providing an exciting, family-friendly entertainment environment with a variety of attractions and special events. The company is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages by offering safe, fun, and dynamic activities that encourage kids and families to aim higher and challenge themselves in ways they never thought possible. Urban Air's core mission revolves around promoting fun, growth, and achievement in a safe and welcoming environment, making it a pioneer and leader in the entertainment industry.

The Events/Sales Consultant role at Urban Air Vancouver is designed for a highly motivated and outgoing individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multifaceted family entertainment setting. This position serves as the first point of contact between the park and its guests, with the primary responsibility of selling fun by customizing the perfect combination of food, drinks, and attractions tailored to various group events such as birthday parties, church gatherings, sports groups, corporate team-building activities, and other special occasions. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and excels at building strong relationships through excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking abilities, and a proactive approach to lead generation and follow-up.

A key part of the role involves conducting outbound prospecting to connect with local organizations, attending community and chamber events to increase brand awareness, and driving event business to the park. This position offers an unlimited earning potential with a compensation structure that includes a base salary plus commission, making it an excellent opportunity for ambitious sales professionals looking to grow their skills and income. Candidates are expected to respond to all sales leads promptly, often within the same or next business day, and aim to book events up to three months in advance.

Working at Urban Air means joining a team that values every individual’s contribution and promotes a culture where personal development and career growth are actively encouraged. The Events/Sales Consultant will collaborate closely with the park team to ensure an excellent guest experience for all groups, striving for 100% guest satisfaction. The role demands high energy, a 'You Got It' attitude, and the ability to represent the brand with enthusiasm and passion, making every event the most memorable experience for guests.

This position also emphasizes teamwork, safety, and community engagement. The successful candidate is someone who goes beyond their assigned duties, shares ideas, helps team members, and acts as if they own the business. The working environment at Urban Air is dynamic and lively, featuring great food and millions of dollars' worth of attractions, all within a business casual dress code. Flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts during the week is required to meet the needs of the business and provide superior customer service.

Urban Air Vancouver is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. If you are someone who loves to sell, enjoys working with people, and is eager to grow professionally in the entertainment industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading company and make a meaningful impact in your community.
