Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or event support preferred
- availability to work evenings and weekends
- reliable transportation
- ability to stand, walk, and talk for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- capacity to handle multiple tasks
- commitment to providing positive visitor experiences

- Awareness of how the carillon functions as a musical instrument or ability to learn through training
- strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to engage diverse audiences
- ability to present information clearly and professionally to individuals and groups

- reliability and availability to work on an on-call basis
- ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- physical ability to stand, walk, and conduct tours for extended periods
Job Duties
- Provide support for concerts, sporting events, outdoor functions and related University special events
- work at an assigned station in a concession stand
- prepare and dispense refreshments
- transport, maintain and arrange supplies, equipment and materials
- operate a cash drawer
- assist with parking enforcement
- act as an event usher
- serve as an ambassador for the College of Music during public engagement activities
- lead tours and assist with open house events for the Carillon
- coordinate with the University Carillonneur to support scheduled events
- deliver accurate historical and programmatic information about the carillon
- ensure a welcoming and professional visitor experience
