The Events Team Member at Travis Fields at Midtown Park plays a critical role as the first point of contact for all guests at the facility. This part-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Events Coordinator and is essential for delivering exceptional guest service. An individual in this role is expected to foster memorable family experiences by efficiently handling various responsibilities related to guest services and event coordination. The Events Team Member is responsible for managing ticket and wristband sales, greeting guests, providing helpful information, registering participants for leagues, camps, and clinics, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in maintaining records such as waivers, event scores, and reservations while upholding strict confidentiality regarding guest and team member information.
Additionally, the Events Team Member assists with event scheduling and coordination, ensuring all parties and events are organized and executed flawlessly. This includes maintaining detailed files related to each event, managing inventory supplies such as Party bags and decorations, communicating effectively with management and party hosts, and driving guest satisfaction through clear and timely communication. The position also supports local promotion efforts by distributing materials and helping to leverage social marketing strategies to maximize event visibility within the community. Job Requirements
- Basic education level or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds waist high
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods indoors or outdoors
- Computer operation skills

Job Duties
- Event ticket and wristband concessions
- Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed
- Provide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all guests
- Register guests for leagues, camps, clinics, drop-ins, etc.
- Be knowledgeable about facility programs including format, pricing, meeting dates and times
- Record and file waivers and event information
- Record event scores for tournaments and leagues and print game sheets on a daily basis
- Maintain confidentiality with guest and Team Member information
- Resolve all guest concerns and complaints or direct to appropriate Manager
- Know and enforce the facility's policies and procedures
- Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating all facility events and parties
- Ensure all party details are executed as planned and tracked with detailed and organized files including party reservations, monies collected, waivers, food orders, and party bags
- Communicate clearly and timely with Manager(s)-On-Duty, gym attendants and party hosts to ensure proper setup, coordination of activities, and cleanup for parties
- Maintain inventory of paper goods, balloons, helium, party bags, giveaways and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to party manual including party process, procedures and standard game/activity curriculum
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing timely and clear communication with party hosts about all party details
- Distribute collateral materials such as flyers to cross promote all facility programs and support social marketing strategy to promote events on local sites
