This role is full-time and non-exempt, reporting directly to the Operations Director within the events department. The position of Events Supervisor is central to the successful management and execution of events hosted at Ontario Sports Empire. The supervisor plays a vital role in coordinating various aspects of event planning and facility management, ensuring that each event operates smoothly from inception through completion. This includes training and developing both full-time and part-time staff, liaising with event owners, organizing event logistics, and strategizing to maximize event success and client satisfaction. The Events Supervisor is expected to maintain a high level of communication and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to the overall growth and performance of the facility's event portfolio. This role demands a proactive leader who can balance operational duties with strategic planning, all while supporting the day-to-day needs of the facility and its teams. The supervisor also participates in leadership meetings, assists in managing budgets, analyzes event metrics, and takes on the responsibility of serving as a manager on duty when necessary. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in management, sports management, business, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in leadership role in operational management and/or event management preferred

Job Duties
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and reporting on overall event calendar activities to leadership, team members, clients, and SFC
- Participate in planning, strategic and leadership meetings
- Assist with oversight of effective communications with event owners pre, during, and post events
- Assist in oversight with administration and a high level of detail required in the organization of events
- Build an overall understanding of the events in the company portfolio, their operational aims, and their revenue streams
- Plan, develop, and execute local tournaments including sales and marketing strategy to meet registration goals and act as tournament director
- Liaison and communication for event planning, setup, and operations with other department leaders
- Work with Operations Supervisor during non-event days to oversee event management including task assignment and execution of facility team’s daily tasks
- Support facility team in day-to-day tasks such as mowing, weed eating, field prep, irrigation maintenance
- Assist to ensure overall health & safety, quality control, expense management, security, procedures, and facility maintenance are in place
- Create and monitor operations and facility team schedules
- Contribute to maintaining budgets while exercising control in expense management and facility maintenance
- Analyze event performance and prepare metrics presentation
- Support in hiring process, training, and developing part-time/seasonal operations and facilities team members
- Work with Assistant General Manager and other leaders to develop business plans, KPI reports, and budgets
- Serve as Manager on Duty as needed
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management
