Marriott International, as a global leader in the hospitality industry, is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where associates from various cultures, talents, and experiences unite to innovate and delight guests.
Located in Tallahassee, Florida, at 801 S Gadsden St, AC Hotels offers a vibrant atmosphere that blends contemporary design with unparalleled guest service. As part of a respected worldwide network of hotels, AC Hotels emphasizes the importance of cultivating genuine guest relationships and delivering premium service standards that exceed expectations.
This position is a full-time, non-management administrative role that plays a crucial part in supporting the property sales teams, managing event planning, and providing essential administrative duties. The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for guests organizing and attending meetings on property, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The role involves coordinating with General Managers of the property to assist in sales and event execution, supporting group sales and area sales office teams, and managing digital content related to the property’s web presence on Marriott.com. Administrative tasks will be delegated at the discretion of the General Managers to support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include verifying and executing event plans on-site, maintaining communication channels between guests and sales teams, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills to anticipate and address guest needs proactively, assist guests with disabilities, and foster a welcoming environment following company standards. Further, the position involves adhering to confidentiality requirements and protecting company assets.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and capable of handling light physical tasks such as moving or transporting items weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance. Flexibility in working shifts and availability during weekends is preferred to meet the dynamic needs of the hospitality environment. Candidates with event planning experience will find this role particularly suited to their skills.
Joining AC Hotels means becoming part of a dynamic, globally minded team that values curiosity, continuous learning, and a passion for design, technology, and arts. The company encourages employees to improve the service experience constantly and share innovative ideas with colleagues and guests alike. By joining this team, individuals have the opportunity to realize their best work, fulfill their purpose, and become the best version of themselves in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
