Job Description

Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts. AC Hotels by Marriott, a distinguished brand within the Marriott family, embodies a refined approach to hospitality centered on European-inspired design, attention to detail, and a passion for thoughtful service. AC Hotels offers guests a seamless blend of style, comfort, and functionality, making it an ideal destination for travelers seeking both sophistication and convenience. As part of Marriott International, AC Hotels prioritizes creating an inclusive workplace culture where diversity is celebrated, and employees are empowered to bring their unique perspectives and talents to the table. This commitment ensures a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration thrive.

The role of Event Planning and Sales Support within AC Hotels is critical for ensuring seamless event execution and delivering high-quality guest service. As the primary liaison for guests coordinating meetings and events, this position oversees every stage of the event experience to guarantee that guests’ needs are met efficiently and with professionalism. The role supports the property General Managers and sales teams by providing crucial administrative aid, managing communication between different departments and external stakeholders, and maintaining up-to-date content on Marriott.com websites to enhance the hotel's online presence.

Key responsibilities include verifying on-site event planning and execution to ensure all details align with guest expectations and company standards. The position requires effective communication skills, as it acts as the principal contact for the Group Sales Office and the Area Sales teams, assuring smooth coordination and prompt response to inquiries. Administrative duties assigned by the General Managers add another layer of operational support, emphasizing the importance of organization, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Additionally, this role demands a commitment to Marriott’s service standards, including greeting guests warmly, responding attentively to service needs, assisting guests with disabilities, and expressing appreciation for their patronage. The position also entails professional conduct in personal appearance and communication, maintaining a polished and approachable demeanor at all times. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and the ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Joining AC Hotels offers the opportunity to be part of a global family dedicated to excellence, where associates express a global mindset, curiosity, and a drive to continuously improve the service experience. This role is not only about managing events but also about embodying the AC Hotels philosophy that true hospitality is demonstrated through detailed-oriented service and genuine guest care. Those who thrive here are passionate about hospitality, eager to embrace new challenges, and committed to personal and professional growth in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
