The available opportunity is for a seasoned Event Manager who will lead the strategy, planning, and successful execution of key company meetings and events. These events include major annual gatherings such as the Fall Owners Meeting, Spring Sales Meeting & Tradeshow, Board Meetings, Supplier Conferences, and other enterprise-wide events. The role involves close collaboration with leadership to define event objectives, audience needs, and outcome measurements that align with business goals.
This position demands expertise in managing large-scale, complex events, including developing detailed event plans with clear timelines, resource requirements, stakeholder responsibilities, and risk mitigation tactics. The Event Manager will spearhead the RFP process, negotiate with vendors, select event venues, and oversee contract reviews to ensure optimal partnerships. Budget management is also a crucial aspect of this role, requiring vigilant oversight of expenses, cost evaluations, and providing insightful budget reporting with recommendations.
Beyond logistics, the Event Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with external partners—ranging from production companies and exhibitors to entertainment providers and hotels—to guarantee exceptional event execution that meets stated objectives. The role emphasizes driving event marketing and communication strategies to effectively engage sponsors, attendees, exhibitors, and stakeholders, with support from internal marketing teams to craft compelling event themes, messaging, and branding that echo organizational priorities.
Performance measurement is another critical responsibility, involving the evaluation of event success through analytics, feedback surveys, and stakeholder input to identify growth opportunities and implement improvements for future initiatives. On-site event management duties include acting as the primary liaison for facilities and vendors, problem resolution, logistics coordination, registration management, attendee communications, and ensuring all event documentation is maintained accurately. This full-time role offers a competitive wage and is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking event professional eager to contribute to a thriving company with a strong commitment to its people and customers.
