With a presence in numerous countries and a dedication to innovation and employee development, Marriott is a place where individuals can grow both professionally and personally while being part of a vibrant and inclusive global team.
This particular position is located at the Courtyard by Marriott in Mesa, Arizona, a full-time, non-management administrative role with a competitive hourly pay rate of $22.10. The primary focus of the role is to support the property’s event planning and execution processes, sales support for the general managers on site, and to undertake a variety of administrative tasks. The position serves as the main point of contact for guests hosting or attending meetings at the property, ensuring their overall experience is smooth and enjoyable. Additionally, the role maintains important communications with group sales and area sales office teams and is responsible for the creation, development, and distribution of content to update the property’s websites on Marriott.com.
Beyond these core responsibilities, the role requires adherence to Marriott’s company policies and procedures, including maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of company information, providing attentive and courteous guest service that anticipates and responds to guest needs, and supporting team goals through effective communication and collaboration. The role also involves physical activity such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling light objects up to 10 pounds. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to become part of a globally respected brand that values diversity, inclusion, and team member development. Courtyard by Marriott embraces an empowering culture where employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, deliver superior guest experiences, and enjoy a fun, dynamic workplace.
Joining Courtyard by Marriott means becoming part of an international family that values cultural fusion, talent, and experience, committed to equal opportunity and fostering an environment free from discrimination. This role is ideal for someone passionate about meeting the needs of business travelers, eager to contribute to a small but ambitious team, and excited to continuously learn and improve. It offers a fulfilling career path where you can be your best self while playing a critical role in providing memorable guest experiences that embody Marriott’s high standards and hospitality legacy.
