Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 2 plus years sales and/or customer service experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills including experience presenting to groups
  • Prior hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Professional personal image required
  • Demonstrated presentation skills to external customers
  • Strong organization and planning skills required
  • Proven ability to excel in customer-focused and results-driven environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Represent FedEx Office as the on-site sales and support expert for event managers and key event participants
  • Demonstrate consultative behaviors to ensure polite and expert service to customers and host properties
  • Attend department meetings, site visits, planning and pre-convention meetings making presentations on FXO's offerings
  • Act as primary relationship owner for Sales and Event Services teams within host venues
  • Ensure customer and host property satisfaction throughout pre-event and post-event activities
  • Drive revenue by making sales calls on nearby hotels and convention centers and securing new opportunities
  • Take complex job orders, provide quotes to meeting and event planners, and follow up on bids
  • Monitor quality and timeliness of all event-related work to ensure satisfaction
  • Initiate timely contact with future groups via email and phone calls
  • Review strategies and performance to goals weekly with the Supervisor
  • Implement established marketing plans and sales strategies
  • Maintain accurate CRM system data including daily activities and account updates
  • Meet or exceed activity standards within the HCO program
  • Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures and safety policies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize FedEx value
  • Perform additional duties as needed
