The Boston Symphony Orchestra is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join its Event Services team as seasonal Event Set Up Assistants. This role is centered around the preparation and execution of various events held at the Tanglewood grounds. The Event Set Up Assistant will play an essential role in setting up and breaking down equipment and facilities for a wide range of events including dining services, elegant galas, weddings, backstage catering, private parties, internal company events, and even unique activities like yoga on the lawn. This position demands an individual who is detail-oriented, capable of physical labor, and flexible in scheduling to accommodate the dynamic nature of events throughout the season.

This seasonal position is ideal for candidates seeking an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and logistics within a prestigious cultural institution. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, physically fit to lift between 50 to 100 pounds, and possess a valid driver’s license. Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime hours is required to support the diverse and bustling event schedule at Tanglewood.
