Job Description
TEAM is an award-winning experiential marketing agency recognized for delivering innovative and creative marketing campaigns that are deeply rooted in strategy, insights, and decades of industry experience. The agency is committed to blowing people’s minds and stealing their hearts by designing incredible brand experiences that create lasting emotional connections. This focus on memorable, shareable, and unprecedented brand moments has earned TEAM a reputation as a leader in the experiential marketing space. They pride themselves on a collaborative, fun, and hard-working culture that not only produces exceptional work but also takes great care of their employees, fostering an environment where team members can thrive both professionally and personally. TEAM partners with some of the best brands and talented individuals to execute dynamic campaigns that inspire and engage audiences at every touchpoint. Available through various digital platforms including their website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, the agency is highly visible and actively connected with its audience.
The Events Manager role at TEAM is a critical and highly visible position, focused on overseeing one of the agency’s most important regional programs within the enterprise technology sector. This position involves complete ownership of the full event lifecycle, from planning and on-site execution to reporting and client alignment. The scope primarily covers B2B events including regional conferences, partner summits, and executive briefings, demanding a high level of coordination and strategic execution. The Events Manager's role is not limited to traditional event management; it encompasses the orchestration of people, processes, and performance to ensure seamless delivery of flawless event experiences that resonate with clients and their audiences. This leadership role requires strong vendor negotiation skills, rigorous logistical oversight, and an ability to handle the fast-paced dynamics of event environments while maintaining operational control.
Additionally, the Events Manager will play an instrumental role in people development and leadership by providing guidance and performance feedback to vendor staff, fostering accountability and excellence. Program governance is another critical responsibility, involving the management of calendars, risk logs, and executive reporting to reflect ownership and drive continual improvements. Reporting on event effectiveness through detailed analytics—measuring leads, pipeline generation, and ROI—is a key function of this role. The Events Manager also serves as the primary liaison between clients, distributor field personnel, and internal stakeholders, ensuring event goals align with broader marketing strategies and business objectives. Success in this role depends on strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building capabilities, as well as a deep understanding of experiential marketing best practices. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, preferably within an experiential marketing agency, with proficiency in managing both in-person and virtual event components. This full-time position also involves travel within the designated market area to ensure exceptional client service and event oversight. TEAM endorses an inclusive workplace and actively supports diversity and equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
