Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality business administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage or event planning and production
  • State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire
  • Certified Food Safety Manager certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Completion of Crowd Management training upon hire
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead employees to deliver top-notch service

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage or event planning and production
  • Experience with restaurant management principles and equipment helpful
  • Proficient in using event calendar or tracking systems such as Tripleseat Guest and Event Management preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with differing deadlines
  • High attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service

Job Duties

  • Oversee life cycle of assigned events including managing food and beverage activities
  • Collaborate with sales managers and operations to ideate and create events
  • Serve as primary contact for clients and vendors from confirmation through completion ensuring excellent customer service
  • Formulate detailed timelines, spatial layouts, and budgets for events
  • Lead event setup ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to client requests
  • Supervise and provide training to event staff including service standards and etiquette
  • Manage event calendar to maximize utilization, revenue, and operational efficiencies
