We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Events Manager to join our North America Field Marketing & Events team. This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located on the East or West Coast to facilitate travel for customer, partner, and corporate events across North America. In this role, the Corporate Events Manager will be responsible for developing and executing integrated, customer-facing event and go-to-market programs that align with HPE's strategic business priorities. The successful candidate will lead complex corporate events from initial strategy through to flawless execution, collaborating closely with internal marketing teams, sales, business units, alliance partners, agencies, and vendors to create exceptional event experiences.

The Corporate Events Manager will oversee event planning and budgeting, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage program execution, and measure outcomes against defined goals. Utilizing post-event insights and analytics, the manager will continually refine and enhance event strategies, increasing engagement and maximizing business impact. This role demands strong project management skills, an ability to negotiate and influence across various levels of management, and deep expertise in marketing principles and tactics specifically related to event management and integrated marketing programs.

Compensation for this role varies by location, with annual base salaries ranging from $105,500 to $243,000, depending on geographic location, experience, education, and skill level. Additional variable incentives may be offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package supporting physical, financial, and emotional well-being. Job Qualifications

  • A BA or BS in marketing or a related field is preferred
  • at least 7 years of marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing, and partner marketing
  • agency, sales, or channel experience is a plus
  • expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools
  • deep understanding of offering, segment, partner, and account-based marketing
  • solid knowledge of advertising, direct marketing, and research vendor practices and procedures
  • well-developed understanding of the industry, product categories, and company offerings and strategy

Job Duties

  • Develop and secure approval for go-to-market plans and budgets
  • direct cross-functional teams and agencies in developing and executing GTM plans and budgets
  • define GTM metrics, goals, and benchmarks, and track and report progress
  • conduct closed-loop post-analysis for marketing programs and identify follow-up actions
  • develop offering and segment messaging, and manage its delivery
  • define customer segmentation strategies and customer experience plans, then execute and monitor them
  • perform marketing operations tasks as needed such as Siebel MRM/CRM, PO and accrual management, collateral fulfillment
  • assist sales teams in developing training materials and with retailer or reseller account calls and development
