Job Description

Opry Entertainment Group (OEG) is a renowned entertainment and hospitality company that operates vibrant venues combining restaurant, bar, and entertainment experiences to create memorable events for guests. As a prestigious destination for social gatherings, private functions, and special events, OEG prides itself on delivering exceptional service in dynamic and lively environments. Their venues are designed to cater to diverse client needs, from casual dining experiences to elaborate celebrations, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly and leaves a lasting impression on attendees.

The role of an Events Manager at OEG is critical in maintaining the high standards and seamless operation of all functions scheduled at their venues. This full-time position involves comprehensive supervision of event life cycles, with a primary focus on managing all food and beverage activities and related services during events. As an integral part of the team, the Events Manager directs service staff and collaborates closely with clients, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure each event meets or exceeds expectations.

In this capacity, the Events Manager acts as the principal liaison for clients from the initial planning stages through to event completion, addressing their unique needs by crafting detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. The position requires proficiency in coordinating diverse aspects of event production, including site visits, contract management, staff training, and quality control. The manager also oversees logistical components such as banquet event orders, floor layouts, and inventory management to guarantee smooth setup, impeccable service, and adherence to company standards.

The ideal candidate embodies teamwork, integrity, and professionalism while fostering a positive work culture that inspires staff to deliver memorable guest experiences. To succeed, the Events Manager must be adept at handling unforeseen challenges efficiently and maintaining clear communication across all involved parties.

Opry Entertainment Group values employee development and compliance, mandating necessary certifications such as state alcohol education and food handler safety cards. This position also requires physical capabilities to perform various duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and operating under the often busy and occasionally noisy environment typical of entertainment and dining venues. The role reports directly to the Assistant General Manager, contributing significantly to the overall success and profitability of event operations within the organization. By joining OEG as an Events Manager, you become part of a passionate team committed to crafting unforgettable experiences that keep clients and guests returning time and again.
