The Events Manager role at Notable is essential to driving the company’s brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth through strategic event planning and execution. This hybrid position, based out of the San Mateo headquarters, demands a seasoned professional who can skillfully manage event logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, and marketing collaborations. This role also extends to negotiating contracts, coordinating vendors and suppliers, and managing onsite or virtual event execution to ensure an exceptional experience for attendees, speakers, and staff. Collaboration with creative and content teams is key to developing compelling event branding and promotional campaigns, leveraging channels such as email marketing, social media, and strategic partnerships to maximize event attendance and engagement.

Job Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing preferably in healthcare, tech, or high-growth stage companies
- Proven experience planning and executing successful events, trade shows, and conferences
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to measure and report on marketing success
- Ability to travel during trade show season and annual user conference
- Willingness to work on-site at San Mateo office at least three days per week
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Knowledge of event budgeting and contract negotiation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties
- Coordinate with the events teams to create an annual event calendar that aligns with the company’s marketing objectives and product launches
- Define and communicate clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for each event and follow up to assess accomplishments and improvement opportunities
- Conceptualize themes, messaging, and designs of both internal and external events in collaboration with marketing leadership
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop event branding, messaging, and materials
- Manage event budgets ensuring all aspects of the event are within allocated resources and communicate closely with marketing leadership
- Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising event quality
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for event setup and logistics
- Handle contract negotiations with venues, service providers, and contractors
- Oversee and execute logistics of events including booking venues, managing schedules, and meeting technical requirements
- Ensure smooth onsite or virtual event experiences for attendees, staff, and speakers
- Develop promotional plans to drive attendance through email marketing, social media, and partnerships
- Ensure high engagement before, during, and after events through marketing campaigns and attendee interactions
- Identify, secure, and coordinate with speakers for keynotes, panels, and sessions
- Lead post-event follow-up including lead nurturing, feedback collection, and ROI analysis
- Share event performance reports with leadership and stakeholders
