Job Description

Juniper Preserve, located in Bend, OR, is a distinguished hospitality-focused property operated under the prestigious Troon brand. Troon, headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, is recognized as the world’s largest professional club management company, excelling in golf, hospitality, and residential community management across more than 900 locations in over 45 states and 27 countries globally. Troon’s commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences and operational excellence makes Juniper Preserve a premier destination that offers exceptional service within the golf and hospitality sectors. Juniper Preserve embraces Troon’s core values of being infectiously energetic, consciously kind, and humbly prosperous, creating a welcoming and growth-oriented work environment.

The Event Manager role at Juniper Preserve represents an outstanding career opportunity for a motivated and service-oriented professional eager to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment. This role is pivotal within the Troon ecosystem, serving as a key liaison to plan, coordinate, and execute seamless events that cater to members, guests, and prospective clients. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments including sales, culinary, banquet management, and tournament coordination to ensure every detail aligns with the client’s expectations and the property’s standards.

As the Event Manager, you will oversee the entire event lifecycle — from initial booking, detailed logistical arrangements, budgeting, contract fulfillment, to onsite supervision and post-event analysis. You will coordinate facility usage, manage transportation and accommodations, ensure the preparedness of audiovisual and food and beverage services, and address any challenges to deliver exceptional experiences. You will also plan and manage social, corporate, golf, and special member events, ensuring that all operational goals are met with professionalism and in line with Troon’s hospitality philosophy.

This position demands a highly organized individual with strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Your proactive approach will foster positive relationships with clients and internal teams, helping to maintain the property’s reputation for outstanding event execution. Furthermore, the role requires a balance of administrative prowess — maintaining budgets, tracking revenues and expenses, and preparing forecasts — with hands-on operational management, actively participating in weekly execution meetings and property tours.

Working with Troon and Juniper Preserve offers professional development within a global leader and access to a vast network of hospitality experts. This role is non-supervisory but requires collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders to build cohesive and memorable event experiences. Candidates with at least one to two years of event planning experience, preferably within restaurants, golf clubs, or hotel settings, strong technical skills in Microsoft Office and event management platforms, and a positive, adaptable attitude will thrive in this position. A valid Oregon Driver License is required, and preferred certifications include a Food Handler Card and OLCC License.

Join Juniper Preserve and Troon to elevate your career in event management, deliver world-class guest service, and contribute to a vibrant community that values high standards and continuous growth.
