This full-time, management-level position offers a competitive salary range of $56,000 to $72,000 annually and includes eligibility for bonuses. The Event Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of events by preparing all necessary documentation and coordinating with Sales, various property departments, and customers from pre-event planning through post-event follow-up. This role primarily handles events of average complexity, ensuring a smooth turnover between sales and service teams. The Event Manager will also seek opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements that create outstanding and memorable events.
The responsibilities of this role are broad and include managing logistics and operations of events, acting as the primary customer liaison, and leading event management teams through effective communication and coordination. The individual will be expected to integrate current trends in event management and design to enhance the overall experience for clients and guests. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in event management or related professional area
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Minimum 1 year experience in event management or related professional area
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing operational challenges
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in event management or related fields
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major

Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with Sales, property departments, and customers to maintain service consistency
- Manage event logistics and operations for average complexity events
- Act as a liaison between field sales and customers during the entire event process
- Lead pre-event and post-event meetings to review and communicate group needs
- Oversee group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups
- Handle guest problems and complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction
