Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in event management or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in related field
- At least 1 year experience in event management or related area
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work full-time schedule
- Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, California
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of experience in event management or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year of experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in customer service and event coordination
- Ability to lead and facilitate team meetings
- Proficient in event planning and operational logistics
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers
- Ensure seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales
- Manage group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups
- Identify and resolve operational challenges related to events
- Act as liaison between field salesperson and customer during all event phases
